Pre-WAC Soil Micromorphology workshop:

An informal Archaeological Soil Micromorphology Workshop was held at University College Dublin in the weekend preceding the World Archaeological Congress. Participants got together to look at and discuss each others’ thin sections in a relaxed but intensive forum.

 

 

Geoarchaeology sessions at the 33rd International Geological Congress in 2008:

DIG 2009:  Held at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, May 27-29 2009, preceded by an Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis workshop, May 25-27 2009.

DIG 2015:  Held at Alghero University in Sardinia, June 9th to 12th 2015, immediately after the Micromorphology Workshop at Cagliari University, Sardinia, June 5th to 8th.  It included two field trips, and two days of oral and poster presentations.
