informal Archaeological Soil Micromorphology Workshop was held at
University College Dublin in the weekend preceding the World
Archaeological Congress. Participants got together to look at and
discuss each others’ thin sections in a relaxed but intensive forum.

University in Sardinia, June 9th to 12th 2015, immediately after the
Micromorphology Workshop at Cagliari University, Sardinia, June 5th to
8th. It included two field trips, and two days of oral and poster

at Newcastle University, England, September 3rd to 7th 2017. It
included two workshops (pXRF and micromorphology) and one field trip, as
well as two and a half days of oral and poster presentations.
